Best Friend

I was asked by a mother to paint a picture of a dog for her adult son from a number of old polaroid photographs taken many years ago. As a young boy her son and the dog were best friends and she told me how they would go to her father’s farm after harvest in the fall and run around in the fields. The dog is gone but the painting could revive those memories.
